Some of your tools look into the document to use markup they find
The indexing tool requires you to mark up instances of occurrence,
then uses that markup to build an index.

Indexes

If you need to add an index, you must mark up all the text to index ...

  1. select Mark Entry to open dialog box
  2. use the find tool in the Navigation sidebar to find a word or phrase
  3. and then Mark All to embed some XML into the document as hidden text

It will look like this.

When completed, insert the index in an appropriate location.
