Library Browsing Areas

ID Glide
In the Chapel Hill Public Library, one can browse birth control and planned parenthood topics in the non-fiction section in the call numbers 613.90 to 613.97. One can also browse the Reference section for medical dictionaries, women's health guides, and directories which contain names and contact points of board certified obstetricians and gynecologists across the United States. These reference books are located in the call numbers around R610 through R620. Also, one can browse through the Reference section's encyclopedias for information on these topics.

In UNC Chapel Hill's Davis Library, one can browse related topics on the fifth floor under HQ's. An entire shelf is dedicated to topics relating to abortion, parenting, and the pro-life v. pro-choice discussion, having a baby, women's and men's sexual health through out their lives, and birth control and planned parenthood.
