June 14   A few changes and updates to call your attention to. I changed the Webboard assignment third paragraph to begin with chapter 6 and corrected a garbled sentence in same para. I also collected the Resource Review assignment to show 1/2 credit in last sentence of lst paragraph instead of one credit. I also corrected the broken links on my homepage.

Please see revised class list to reflect the addition of a few folks and corrections you provided yesterday. If you have other changes, send me a note and I'll fix.

I have one more change (or rather correction) to the short exercise assignments that I'll discuss in class today.


June 2, 2000    Welcome to the marketing course. I hope we all can learn and have fun doing it as we LEEP through this short summer semester.

Before coming to class on Tuesday, the 13th, please

  • look through the syllabus and the various related links,
  • buy the textbook and read introductory material and Chapter 1,
  • fill out the student information form,
  • tell a bit about yourself on the Webboard (once you figure out how to access it) and
  • check out the assignments especially the Market Audit assignment. Be thinking about an organization you might like to analyze for this assignment.

Don't worry if you don't discover this note in timely fashion and don't get it all done, you'll be able to catch up easily as we go through these things on the first day. It is a compressed summer course so we will all be working hard to learn as much as we can in the time available.
