Group Exercise -- Sharing Notes and Considering the Criteria to Needs and Work Plan Assignments

  • Academic Instruction Group to Room H (Brandi, Lois, Lori, Larry, Beth, Kathleen)
  • Digitation Group to Room I (May, Mary, Connie, Tara, Daniel)
  • Libraries and Children/YAs Group to Room J (Michelle, Heather, Flor, Mindy, Flavian)
In your group, take turns describing your approach to the past couple of assignments, what you found most difficult, where you are uncertain, whether or not your colleagues might be able to help you. Examine the rating criteria provided for the needs assessment and the work plan and consider whether they are what reviewers might be looking at. Find a volunteer to summarize the key points of your discussion (remember they will have to be written so keep them few and short.

When you have finished (allow 15 minutes -- we'll time it on the LEEP clock), return to the classroom and go to the Chalkboard, hit the pink "Add Comments" button, then write the name of your group and your comments on the Chalk Board (see example from ChalkBoard for Section 2 of the class).
