LIS 450RRL: GRANTWRITING AND FUNDRAISING

WORKPLAN AND NECESSARY RESOURCES

Criteria for Evaluation

Summer 2001

The three statements below address the three major components of the assignment and reflect the criteria that I am using to evaluate and grade the fifth assignment -- the work plan. You continue to have the option of applying this criteria to your own work. The same five point scale will be used, where:

1 = Outstanding (beyond my expectations)

2 = Very Good (superior work)

3 = Good (perfectly satisfactory – equivalent to B)

4 = Acceptable but Needs Improvement (will be accompanied by some suggestions for ways to make the next assignment better)

5 = Unsatisfactory (will be returned with request to redo).

Rating

Criteria

The description of the work is easy to understand, succinct (but with adequate detail to follow how the project will unfold), and appears to be a good approach to accomplish the goal.

The list of resource requirements identifies key personnel and their assignments with a reasonable estimate of time required. Space and equipment needs are addressed satisfactorily. All other necessary resources identified in the plan are listed and no additional items are added.

Milestones identified in the time and task chart represent major steps in the accomplishment of the project objectives. The director of the project can use the chart as a project management tool in keeping the project on track.
