When reviewing the data provided in the II-13 tables, the following comments provided by individual schools should be considered:
Alberta | There is no difference in tuition fees for Canadian students even if coming from another province. The minimum is 3 credits for a course. |
Catholic | Does not have in-state and out-of-state tuition. In-State and Out-of-State were treated as On-Campus and Off-Campus respectively. Full-Time students are charged the same rate on- and off-campus. Part-time students are charged per credit hour. |
Illinois | Tuition is not assessed by credit hours. It is assessed in 3 ranges of credit. The cost of the range that includes 1-unit (4 semester hours) is given here. The one credit tuition reported in this section is the original data submitted by Illinois divided by four. |
Toronto | Tuition is not assessed by credit hours. It is for 1 full courses or 2 half-courses (special students only – degree students are assessed by status). In-state means domestic students and out-of-state means visa students. |
Washington | There is a 2-credit minimum tuition charge. The one credit tuition reported in this section is the original data submitted by Washington divided by two. |
Western Ontario | Tuition is not assessed by credit hours. It is assessed by a full course. International/USA student fees are recorded in the Out-of-State/Province column. All Canadian students are assessed one fee -- there is no differentiation between provinces. |
