Information Management for Organizational Effectiveness

There will be a FINAL EXAM on Friday, 05 December 2025, at 1600-1900

The purpose of this assignment is to individually reflect on how you view the book you read during the course of the semester, in terms of the topics and discussions we covered in class over the same time frame.

TASK

You will give a presentation on the book you have been reading during the semester

25% of the grade for this class will come from a five minute presentation about the book you read and how it applied to this class

Plan to give a five minute presentation about the book you read and how it applied to this class during the final exam period on Friday, 05 December 2025, at 1600-1900 (final exam schedule). Show in it your understanding of some or all of these topics we discussed in class, by citing the discussion or reading for a particular class session, and citing examples of the topic from your book.

At a minimum, choose four of the eight topics for your presentation.

CONDITION

You have a list of 120+ titles from which to choose. Read the reviews, consider your interests, and think about how you want to spend your time. Once done, enter your name in the first column to select the title you wish to read and to report on. If someone has beaten you to your first choice, move on to your second or subsequent choice. Each title is to have a single reader.

Read your book over the course of the semester. During the final exam period, you will use it to report to your classmates what you learned from it, and to discuss whether or not they would find value in reading it themselves.

If you have book not currently on the list that you would like to read for this task, have a discussion with the instructor to get it added.

STANDARD

The presentations will be given during the final exam time.

You will each have five minutes to present your talk, with by some sort of visual support to reinforce what you have to say.

To make the most efficient use of our time, create your final presentation in PowerPoint or something like Powerpoint. Record your presentaton with your narration and timing, so that it is a maximum of five minutes long.

This can be done easily using PowerPoint, but if you want to use another tool that can do the same thing, you may.
