This Vaccines and Immunizations’ pathfinder has been designed for health care workers and graduate students in public health. It provides sources for a basic scientific understanding of this topic, and it provides sources about broader issues associated with it. These broader issues include: immunization requirements in the United States; health policy; research on new vaccines; global health and economic policy; immunization and developing countries. The sources include medical dictionaries, manuals and guides, a bibliography, monographs, journals, abstracts and indexes, audiovisual sources, and electronic sources. The focus is mainly on immunization and vaccines for children but most of the sources will also have information for adults. |
