The first two databases, Academic Search Elite and Expanded Academic ASAP, can be found using The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill library website. The information can be accessed on or off campus with a UNC-CH personal identification number.
Academic Search Elite
This is available on the UNC-CH library website at http://eresources.lib.unc.edu/eid/.
Academic Search Elite provides journal articles, abstracts, and indexes covering areas such as social science, humanities, and education. The database includes over 1,000 full text articles from over 1,700 peer reviewed journals. In order to find information on Madeleine L’Engle, it is necessary to enter the last name before the first. The results were 29 book reviews, biographies, essays, and published lectures.
Expanded Academic ASAP
This is available on the UNC-CH library Website at http://eresources.lib.unc.edu/eid/.
Expanded Academic ASAP provides full text journal articles, indexes, and abstracts to 1,500 journals. There is a wide area of concentration, including humanities, sociology, and communications. It is also necessary that Madeleine L’Engle is entered last name then first. The results were 134 newspaper and magazine articles, reviews, interviews, biographies, speeches, and essays.
