it is limited to publications of art museums, it is extremely detailed most

bibliographical source devoted to all aspects of museum studies.
Beginning with Museum Context (geographical divisions of the world) and
progressing to collection studies and museum history, material culture,
collection management, research, communication and exhibitions, museum
education, museum services, professional and institutional context, museum
management and buildings, this is a thorough review of literature.
It “aims to provide a bibliographic source of reference for those
engaged in museum training and research, as well as those museum workers, and
others, who simply wish to access the contemporary literature on museums.” It

arts (25-139), museums and art galleries (143-184) and buildings and interiors

Since it was compiled and published in France, each section is written in
both French and English. It is a
