LIS 450RRL: GRANTWRITING AND FUNDRAISING
Evelyn Daniel, Ph.D.,
A hands-on approach to developing grant writing skills for
professionals with some examination of the similarities and differences
between grantwriting and fundraising. All aspects of proposal development
are considered --
idea generation, identification of potential funding sources, writing
letters of inquiry, working on each of the
elements in a proposal: problem statement, work plan,
resource plan, evaluation and dissemination methods, and budget.
Peer and self-evaluation are required. As a LEEP class, interaction
among students and instructor will be via the Internet.
