Presentation Design & Delivery

Recording Posted Grade Sheet Stand-alone Presentation Site
The class recording (above) is a recording I did Friday afternoon after class. It is probably the fastest track for getting the project done efficiently and to the proper specs.

I demonstrate how I took my Big 7 Google Slides presentation and adapted it to include the rubric items.

You don't have to start out on Google Slides, but it is an option if you feel more comfortable beginning there.

things I could have done better...
  1. If I have copied my navigation system links from the overview slide, I would have a better final product: Every slide would have navigation. As I left it, the summary slide has the regular numbers.
  2. For the navigation system extra credit, I correctly stated that you should go to your last slide and create the system there, but in the demo, I did this on the next to last slide which was the delivery slide. The principle is the same, but do go to the last slide which would be the impact slide in my project. presentation demo errors

The reality is that a slide presentation is never done...you can always think of a better way to do things as you gain more skills. Don't obsess about making this project absolutely amazing if that requires you to spend 80 hours on it. Get to good enough and stop. However, if you are creating a pitch that might gain you another $30,000 a year, you might actually want to put 80-120 hours into it.
