- Edweb - a site
that provides information on the role of the World Wide Web in education.
- The Electronic Emissary - a project created by the College of Education at the University of
Texas, Austin to connect educators to experts in various fields.
- EvaluTech -
provides reviews of instructional materials (print, non-print, and
software) specifically related to the North Carolina Standard Course of
Study. Based on Infotech, a review publication published by the
Department of Public Instruction.
- HTML Tutorial- an excellent online and interactive tutorial put together by Eric Meyer of
Case Western Reserve University. The tutorials start at the level of complete
novice and continue through an intermediate user.
- Kathy Schrock's
Guide for Educators - " a classified list of sites on the Internet
found to be useful for enhancing curriculum and teacher professional growth.
It is updated daily to keep up with the tremendous number of new World Wide
Web sites." (Description quoted from her opening page)
- INLS 181 Class Resources Page--links to technical resources on HTML, networking, searching, and more. Compiled by Scott Barker for his Internet Applications class.
- North Carolina Standard Course of Study -part of the LearnLC homepage, which provides lesson plans and discussion forums for North Carolina educators.
- The Public Service Librarian's Professional Guide to Internet Resources--a large collection of internet resources for librarians, compiled by the Winsor School Library in Boston.
- Teacher Connect--educational resources for North Carolina teachers. Includes professional resources, discussion forums, teaching treasures, and an online journal.
- Top Ten Reasons Why Teachers Use the Internet by Ferdi Serim, coauthor of Netlearning.

Walt Howe's Internet Learning Center - includes a general guide to Internet tools, links to Internet training resources, and a guide to search engines.
- Where the Wild Things Are : Librarian's Guide to the Best
Information on the Net - vast collection of resources compiled by the O'Keefe Library at St. Ambrose
University. Includes links regarding Internet issues, copyright information, and Great Librarians on the Web.
- Virtual Reference Desk- links to a large number of resources, including dictionaries, North Carolina sites, maps, and references on a wide variety of subjects.
