Accessibile design

What is Web Accessibility

Ensure that your design affords accessibility to the broadest spectrum of users.

[W3C model of usability and accessibility]

Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the Web.

More specifically, web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Web, and that they can contribute to the Web.

Designing for accessibility is not that hard

Use correct markup on your content
Add enough color contrast
Don't use color alone to make critical information understandable
Design usable focus state
Use labels or instructions with form fields and inputs
Write useful alternative text for your images and other non-text content
Support keyboard navigation
