1.     Alabama ¾ Includes 13 students in independent studies and readings courses and 16 internships.

2.     Illinois ¾ Includes 12 practicum, 11 independent study, 1 CAS project, and 21 thesis research students.

3.     Michigan ¾ Includes independent studies, dfes (690), directed research (901), and dissertation research (900, 995).

4.     Rhode Island ¾ 12 in independent study and 7 in professional field experience.

5.     Rutgers ¾ 3 in independent study and in reading courses and 18 in internships.

6.     Simmons ¾ Includes Independent Study (LIS 500), Supervised Study (LIS 600), Practicum – pre K-12 (LIS 498), Clinical Experience – pre K-12 (LIS 499), Internship pre K-12 (LIS 497), and Independent Study for doctoral students (LIS 601).

7.     Southern Connecticut ¾ Reported values for Graduate Library Science and Instructional Technology, Undergradaute Library Science, and Undergraduate Instructional Technology separately.  These numbers have been combined by the authors.

8.     Syracuse ¾  70 undergraduate students and 55 graduate students.
