Tools for Information Literacy | Week ⑩ Set up for printing in a new paper size
Save a second copy of your document
This copy is to be modified, so it needs to be saved with a different filename.
First save a second copy of the document named
lastName_firstName_YYYYMMDD_everybodys-talking-at-me.docx
as a new copy with the filename
lastName_firstName_YYYYMMDD_talking-at-me.a4.docx
This will be modified so that the thesis can be delivered electronically to a colleague in
location where the paper size is A4,
in a form that will be printable on A4 size paper, but not to be bound.
Then, on the new A4 file, change the page layout to create a document to be printed, but not bound.
Change the paper size to A4
Change the page layout to 0 gutter
Update the table of contents to show new pagination
and ensure that you apply these changes to the entire document, not just to a single section.
