When one is on the schedule to present, that individual will walk to the front of the room and speak to the entire group, without bringing their laptop or phone with them to read from.
We will do this to get practice in speaking extemporaneously to a professional group.
This is just for practice and is not a graded exercise.

The task is worth 25% of the semester grade.
While much of class time will be taken up with lecture, there is always to the opportunity to share your thoughts in discussion. Such discussion might be a further exploration of your discussion posts, a back-and-forth about the topic of the day, or a standalone discussion about something you feel merits the time in class.
