Davidson County is home to four auto racing teams. Represented above is the Richard Childress Racing team in Welcome. The race shop is responsible for maintaining the cars of seven-time NASCAR Winston Cup winner Dale Earnhardt.


Denton Attractions


• Denton is home to the county's newest newspaper, the Denton Orator. The newspaper is housed in a historic bank building in downtown Denton.
