Wine Handbook [Infotrac Onefile] Via NCLive
Electronic Access available through UNC Libraries:

The Wine Handbook looks at the wine market and wine industry trends. It provides plenty of statistical figures, too much for just a beginner. Only gloss over this source if you are interested in what is currently popular.

Wine Spectator. New York: M. Shanken Communications.
Electronic Access available through UNC Libraries:
http://eresources.lib.unc.edu/ejournal

Wine Spectator is a good, general journal that covers many of the aspects of wine culture. Articles discuss topics such as health benefits, prices, factors for good wines, organic wines, and new wine makers. Contains full-text articles.

Wines and Vines: Buyer’s Guide Issue. Hiaring Company.
Electronic Access available through UNC Libraries:
http://eresources.lib.unc.edu/ejournal

Like Wine Spectator, this is a good journal to peruse for interesting topics involving wine. Full-text is available. Filtering through who left what family and who hired who may take some effort, but in general, articles contain interesting information about wine that might not be found in another type of source.
