I found one entry (listed in Associations) that might be relevant to a study of belly dance. Other, more general associations, may interest the reader, however.
Associations
This Association is comprised of over 100 Middle Eastern dancers and supporters. It provides close communication within the Middle Eastern dance community, sponsors events and workshops, and publishes a biannual newsletter. Contact: MECDA, P.O. Box 946, Rosemead, CA 91770, 626-285-4776; fax: 626-285-1827; Its membership is open to all, but there are annual dues.
Internet Directories
This is Shira's site with over 800 entries.
Off of the Zaghareet! magazine website, this is a national and international directory. Be careful, though--the second part of the states got chopped off and added at the bottom of the site. Keep scrolling.
