File Management : Introduction & Background

Drawing upon campus-wide surveys and in-depth interviews, the MDUD project staff has compiled a list of the most frequently voiced concerns regarding electronic file management on the campuses of UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University. The responses to these questions are mostly based upon individual university policies, North Carolina state policies, and generally accepted records management industry standards.
