Netware and NT, the differences
Generally speaking, most people say that Netware makes a better file and print server than NT
- The claim is that Netware is faster serving files when running on equally configured “boxes”
- Real world - very close
Generally speaking most people say that NT makes a better applications server for running things like Web servers, FTP servers, Database servers etc. than Netware
- This one I agree with. Until recently it was not possible to run a Web server on Netware, and while it is possible today your options are VERY FEW
