LIS 450RR: GRANTSMANSHIP

Resources

Summer 1999

Online Resources. See Funding Sources for a brief list of web sites. The first one listed (Grants Web) may include everything you need but I've included a few more sites -- mostly sites of sites. The University of Chicago site, for example, links to all the major government agency funding programs.

One site of interest to library folks is the Institute of Museum and LIbrary Services. This agency posts its guidelines in .pdf format. I often have trouble getting to them but if I'm persistent eventually it works. This agency will be useful to us because we will use its guidelines as a general funding guide source if you have not chosen a different one.
