All students enrolled in this class should have already completed substantial coursework in information science. This class will build on your knowledge. We will explore current issues and trends in the library and information science field. We will visit some local libraries and information agencies. We will attend one day of the national conference for the American Association for Information Science and Technology in Charlotte, North Carolina. We will also entertain a few speakers on topics of relevance to the LIS field. Some of our speakers will be part of the Circulating International Program from Singapore and Denmark.
