FW: Grandaddy has flat out told us that he used to plant two acres of cotton for no reason at all except to make his kids work it.
TA: He did, he did. But the last year he planted it, you ask your grandmother what happened.
FW: OK.
TA: She got mad in the field. She got to crying. She was tired. And she looked up and she said if he plant another hill of cotton. And think I'm going to work it. She said, I reckon I'm sure I will kill him. I'm sure I will kill him.
KC: Oh, she will definitely. She shot at him a bunch of times already.
TA: She said I'll kill him.
KC: She will.
TA: She said because he planting this for the devil. He don't need it. And Mr. Glenn, he would come out there, he would plow to the end and then sit on the tractor and look back at us.
