FW: What kind of word did you do, Mr. Vardell?
VH: I worked in the dye factory, out over there. I farmed out there, a long while, but for the last thirty year, I worked in a dye factory. Dyed clothes for about fifteen year, and then, and then I s--I got put on as a security guard. I done security work. I worked at the XX for about fifteen year. They caught me asleep, and that's the best thing that ever happened to me. They let me go, and I went to that--I went to that Universal Packing Company, and uh, didn't work but two nights a week, and I made more than I did at the other place, and I worked for four dollars a week. And done a heap less work.
