I guess I was, uh, finishing my-I would have been teaching a year, maybe, when I bought this house. And I soon realized how little money teachers made. And I have always had grand notions of having a, you know, pretty good home, nice home, nicer than my parents', is what I thought the next generation ought to be able to do. They had a nice brick ranch-style house. So I said, "Well, I know I'm not going to be able to build at that time probably a 80, 85 thousand dollar house and be able to pay for it. So I want to be able to find an old one that I can fix, that nobody else will have one like it."
