1.   Nine schools who reported enrollment for the “Doctoral” degree did not report any scholarship or fellowship data for that degree.  To save space in this report those schools are not included in this table.  Schools not reported are:  Drexel, Emporia, Florida State, Michigan, Simmons, Texas Woman’s, Washington, Wisconsin – Madison, and Wisconsin - Milwaukee.  It is likely that the non-reporting reflects no aid awarded rather than a misrepresentation of the data.  Consequently, if this is not the case, the mean figures for aid at the “Doctoral” level would be very different.  In addition, Alberta reported awarding 1 female doctoral student $3,500.  However, they did not report any doctoral students enrolled in a doctoral program.  Therefore, this award data has been excluded from this table.
