• Kent State reports that 2 hours are required for the research paper and 6 hours for the thesis.

• Drexel, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montreal, NC-Chapel Hill, Queens, Toronto, UCLA, Western Ontario, and  

   Wisconsin-Milwaukee do not specify the number of hours required for the thesis.

•  McGill requires 3 hours of a Directed Reading Course, 6 hours of Independent Study, and 12 hours for a Research Paper for

    Master’s Thesis.   Post Master’s work requires 6-12 hours on research paper.

•  Toronto offers an optional Master’s thesis for four half courses.
