·          Albany indicates undergraduates’ transfer hours vary with each student.

·          Drexel has no maximum at undergraduate, but 48 hours must be taken at Drexel.

·          Florida State indicates that transfer credit varies for undergraduate students but is not limited for doctoral students.

·          Hawaii allows 9 hours from another program on their campus and a maximum of 24 hours from another accredited LIS program.

·          Rhode Island limits transfers to 20% of the total required hours

·          Simmons accepts twenty-four transfer credit hours or a master’s degree in a related area for the doctoral program,.

·          Southern Connecticut indicates that it varies at the undergraduate level.

·          Texas indicates varying hours for PhD.

·          Toronto indicates 8 half courses for MISt.

·          UCLA reports none with occasional exceptions by Professional Programs Committee for master’s degree.
