Arizona

1 FTE = 9 semester hours (3 courses and above).

British Columbia

1 FTE = 4 courses.

Buffalo

Graduate Students: 1 FTE = 9 credit hours.

California – Los Angeles

Catholic

Total credits / 8 (full time) = FTE.

Clarion

North Texas

Co-op, Houston and Lubbock (# hrs/6), MN (# hrs/5) and Denton (# hrs/9).  The method used for computing one full-time equivalence (FTE) for the remote sites (Cooperative programs:  Houston, Lubbock, and Minnesota) at the University of North Texas School of Library and Information Sciences is 6 credit hours per semester.  This formula is used because students at the remote sites can complete the degree in 2 years with full-time enrollment in the fall, spring and two summer sessions.  This is the way that the University calculates FTE in order for the students to be eligible for federal financial aid.

Oklahoma

9 credit hours or more for graduate students; 12 hours or more for undergraduate students.

Pittsburgh

Part time x 0.4 + full time = FTE.

Pratt

Three 3-credit courses = 1 FTE.

Puerto Rico

12 credits = 1.00 FTE.

Queens

4 courses are equivalent to full-time enrollment.

Rhode Island
