·          Buffalo – Offers courses taught by visiting part-time instructors.

·          Dominican -- Used emeritus faculty  for 4 elective, and 2 required courses.

·          Illinois -- Advanced doctoral students, staff, and visiting faculty teach elective courses.

·          Iowa -- Employed visiting faculty to teach 13 courses.

·          Maryland --- Had emeritus faculty teach two classes; visiting faculty taught two classes, and   

        staff taught three classes.

·          Michigan – Used on eAffiliate faculty member.

·          Montreal -- Had lecturers teach nine classes.

·          North Carolina - Chapel Hill -- Had 10 required courses taught by Ph.D. students. 

·          Rutgers  -- Used teaching assistants for four required courses.

·          St. John’s -- Had one elective course taught by a full-time professor of computer science.

·          Washington -- Visiting lecturers and emeriti professors taught 25 elective courses.

·          Wisconsin-Madison -- Used lecturers, visiting assistant professors, and other departments to

        teach eight required courses, and 11 elective courses.
