  1. Arizona — In-state: 7+ units = $1,132 x 4 semesters = $4,528; Out-of-State: 9 units = $3,539 X 4 semesters = $14,156.
  2. Illinois — Full degree cost is based on two semesters and summer term 2.
  3. Kentucky — At the University of Kentucky, a graduate student may take as few as 9 credit hours or as many as 15 credit hours and pay the one amount of tuition and fees for full-time enrollment. Fall 1999, the amount is $1,798 for in-state residents and $5,058 for out-of-state residents. To arrive at the reported figures for total cost of a degree -- 36 credit hours in their case. Assuming a student would be enrolled full-time for 12 credit hours per semester, and that they would do that for 3 semesters, the tuition and fees for full-time enrollment are calculated.
  4. McGill — The cost for one international credit is $275.61; full degree is $13,252.
  5. Michigan — A full degree takes four terms (2 years) to complete. Rate is average of two rates.
  6. Puerto Rico — Editors have inserted the value of $75.00 per credit for in-state tuition based upon catalog information.
  7. Rhode Island — Full-degree = 3 semesters full-time in addition to one semester part-time (2 courses); regional cost = $296 per credit.
  8. Southern Connecticut — In-state, full degree = $4,242 for academic year plus 6 credit summer session at $1,173 = 36 credit program; Out-of-state, full degree = $9,897 for academic year plus 6 credits summer session at $1,329 = 36 credit program.
  9. Toronto — Tuition for two session, ie.e full degree fee.
  10. Wisconsin - Madison — Minnesota Compact (In-State/Province) $10,290.30; 1 credit $344.25.
