Kay Thompson contributed to film as a composer, arranger, singer and actress. One of Kay’s greatest influences was in those she coached, Lena Horne, Judy Garland, and Liza Minnelli. As the vocal coach and arranger for MGM in the 1940’s, Kay put her mark upon the greatest young Hollywood starlets.
