Welcome to my web pages. They are designed to provide you information about my work in the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Please click on the categories on the menu bar to the left to find out more.
Every year I will hire one or two graduate students to join our research lab as research assistants, usually starting in the fall semester. This year and next year I will be primarily recruiting students to work on our Contant Companion (HCI, deep learning, visual and audible interfaces) and our Scholarly Communications project (altmetrics, global annotations). Email me if you are interested. I will also take on several students interested working on my other research projects as interns or for independent study credit.
I always have several projects available for students to work on, usually at the level of a master papers or journal articles as the end product. See current project list.
