California 每 Los Angeles

1.  511 每 Internet Basic Technology; 2.  2 MLS classes begin in Oregon.  Both taught by two instructors.

Florida State

The over 50 data is potentially misleading because it contains enrollment data for web-based courses for which sections are based on mode of enrollment rather than number of students accommodated.

LIS 201 每 introductory required course in undergraduate minor in information technology studies; LIS 380 每 M.S. degree core required course on-campus offering.  Course has large lecture plus 7 discussion sections.

Sections of L155 ※Information Resources in Journalism§ (an 8 weeks undergraduate course) 每 maximum in any section was 55.

Louisiana State

One course has more than 50 students because this course has multiple sections since the course was taught as a distance education course.

Courses over 50 students are required courses that all MLIS students must take as part of their MLIS degree.

501 (a foundation course) had only one lecture, resulting in 115 students, 504 (another foundation) had two sections; both with more than 50 students.  539 had 56 students and 682 had 54 students.

Three of the courses are introductory courses taken by general University undergraduate students.  The other course is a required course for all Master of Library & Information Science students.

South Carolina

Five televised courses.  Two of these are required core courses, and three are courses required for school library media certification.  All of these courses have mentors assigned.
