My name is Jewel Ward and I am a PhD. student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the School of Information and Library Science. My advisor is Dr. Helen Tibbo. I am a Research Assistant at the H.W. Odum Institute for Research in Social Science, where I work with NC-DICE on one small part of the NARA TPAP.
An analyst by nature, my interest areas include (in no particular order) information+web design, system and information processes, data+metadata transfer systems and structures (including preservation data grids), networked information, the OAI-PMH, digital preservation, project and people management, the effects of technology on people, mark-up languages, and digital libraries.
