Research and Advising

My research focuses on metadata problems and solutions (metadata generation, web semantics/linked data, ontological engineering, and knowledge organization). I am interested in all things metadata; I enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and working with motivated students. The SILS Metadata Research Center (MRC) has been established to advance metadata approaches and our theoretical and practical understanding of metadata.
