These notes are to supplement in-class discussions about the assigment. Overall goals:

  2. To document this topic as a Web page for class and future use.
  3. To learn more advanced HTML features.
From the syllabus:

You should be using more advanced HTML techniques than for your first two Explorations. You might consider using more than one file, incorporating graphics, using CSS, or other techniques.

Create a Guide or Tutorial of your chosen topic.  See pages 157 - 160 in your text for more detailed and specific information.

Provide a general introduction about your topic.  The presentation should be informative and easy to understand.  You may choose to do a brief, overall sketch or choose one theme and develop it.  Some points that will make your presentation effective are:

1. Good choice of color, with text easy to read.
2. Use graphics, but not too flashy.
3. User friendly navigation with links that permit exploration.
4.  If you create several pages, be sure there are links to the home page.
5.  Use short descriptive writing.

Provide a summary or conclusion, including comments about your chosen topic.  Try to make this an interesting and informative Web page that you envision others internet users using thankfully.
