Liberty Coins, Bills,
& Stamps

As a symbol of the good ole "U-S-of-A," the Statue of Liberty has been replicated on many forms of currency and stamps. I enjoy collecting variants, as evidenced by the assortment of million dollar SoL bills in my collection. When they first came out they were $15. apiece. Now they can be found for $3. One I purchased in Deep Gap, NC and the other three were gifts. If only they were worth their face value!!

(Don't forget to try the mouse-overs!)

Sorry, boring backside!

December 15, 2000 this new, non-demoinated Statue of Liberty postage stamp will be issued to be used on mail posted soon after the expected postage rate increase in early 2001.
