SILS recognizes subtle levels of "satisfactory" since most grades tend to cluster here.L (70-79) low passingP+ (91-94) all requirements satisfied at highest quality
P (85-90) all requirements satisfied at entirely acceptable, above average level
P- (80-84) requirements satisfied
F (< 70) failed
IN work incomplete (only given under extreme circumstances, such as serious illness)
A (91-100) highest level of attainmentC (71-80) adequate level of attainmentB (81-90) high level of attainment
B+ (88-90)B- (81-84)
D (61-70) minimal passing level of attainmentC+ (78-80)C- (71-74)
F (<60) failed, unacceptable performance
IN work incomplete (only given under extreme circumstances, such as serious illness)
AB student did not take final exam, but had a passing grade to that point
FA student did not take final exam, and had a failing grade to that point
PS passing grade for Pass-Fail
