WELCOME to amliss
AMLISS aims to provide students at UNC Chapel Hill with the opportunity to explore art, museum and visual resources librarianship and records management. Through lectures, workshops, special events and visits to museum and art libraries, AMLISS will promote these areas of specialization within the field of library and information science and records management to any interested students.

First Meeting of the Semester

Join AMLISS for the first meeting of the Fall semester to discuss upcoming events! We will provide Pepper's Pizza, a Chapel Hill treat!

Fieldtrip to Duke
When: End of October, 2003 TBA
Where: Duke University

Join AMLISS in a fieldtrip to Duke University. Proposed sites to visit include: DUMA, SECAC, Duke's Center for Documentary Studies.

Art Library Workshop
When: November 8, 2003, TBA
Where: Manning, Rm TBA

Pat Thompson, UNC's Sloane Art Librarian, Natalia Lonchyna, North Carolina Museum of Art's Art Reference Librarian and Karen DeWitt, NCSU's Head of the Design Library will join AMLISS to talk about art librarianship and more.
