Iron tsuba. Its an irregular oval in the shape of a branch and pierced with plum branch and
flower blossom. The nakago ana has inserts at top and bottom, of which the bottom is stamped
with a small flower punch. Higo province, early 1800's.

5 lobed mokko tsuba in the form of a cherry blossom. Deep chiseling on the top and bottom
of the nakago ana. The ji hada (surface) has, unfortunately, eroded around the mimi (rim) and its
face. Owari. 16th century. 7 cm.

Iron tsuba. Mokko gata with very thin mimi. The kogai hitsuana is
filled with a shakudo plug.
Front and back of the tsuba are decorated with two crossed brushes of
shakudo. (One pen
on the front has lost its bottom piece.) Front and back are also decorated
with amida yasuri
(lines radiating from the seppa dai to the mimi) 8 cm.

A cast, irregular iron tsuba in the form of two beanpods and their surrounding vines.Signed "Tomohisa saku," it may of the Bushu school. Dimensions: height=7 cm, width=6.5, thickness=varied.

Ji sukashi (open pierced work) iron tsuba. The interior design is abstract, an elongated diamond hedged
by an edge notched box (?) Late 17th century. 7.5 cm.
