Lexington Library 1985 -
•The move to the
new facility was accomplished June 8 through 24 and again was a community effort with the National Guard and National
Guard Auxiliary volunteering their
services. The dedication on June 30, 1985, culminated a 25-year effort to
secure a new headquarters
library for Lexington and Davidson County.
