Many web sites about yoga exist.
However, I found these to be beneficial for someone wanting to start practicing
yoga right away. These sources either give information about local centers
that offer yoga classes, or contain instructional video clips of how to
do certain postures.

This site offers information about Triangle Yoga located in Chapel Hill, NC. Class descriptions and current schedules are available, as well as several links that allow the user to determine what class is appropriate for their needs. A ‘frequently asked questions” section and sign-up for a yoga mailing list are included.

this web site. Descriptions of instructors, classes, and workshops are
accessible. “Pose of the month”, “wisdom”, and recipe sections are included-
allowing the user to learn more about yoga and asanas.
