Spring Semester 2002
Congratulations to all of you for having successfully completed two group case study assignments. In assigning the groups for the third and last case study assignment, I again tried to honor any preferences expressed at the beginning of the class and to give you variety insofar as possible. As always at this time of the semester some people find it difficult to continue and elect to drop the course. Ruth Clayton is one who has so informed me. If any others cannot carry their load in the group process, it would be good to let me know now so I can adjust the groups if need be.
Please nominate a leader/coordinator for your group and get his/her permission to assume the responsibility. Let me know and I'll asterisk that person's name. For your information, the following folks have served their time as group coordinator: Laura Christopherson, Jennifer Hayden, Adrianne McDonald, Rachelle Runkle, Katherine Scott.
As we did for earlier case studies, the group discussion forums are (or will be) available for you to use. Unless I hear otherwise from anybody by or before Friday, the 29th, I will delete the correspondence and let you begin with a tabular rasa.
Remember how useful it is to send a group email out to your fellow group members as early as possible to set the group off in the right spirit.
