Assignments
- Take Home Midterm (25%)
- Reports and Presentation (25%)
- Final Exam (30%)
- Homework (10%)
- In-class Exercises and Participation (10%)
In-class exercises cannot be made-up for any reason. The take-home midterm, reports and homework are due at the start of class on the day they are due. Work that is submitted late will receive a deduction of 2 points for each day late. The initial deduction is assessed at the close of class on the date the assignment is due; deductions will continue at each 24 hour period thereafter.
Unless otherwise specified, all assignments are individual works - that is, you are to complete them on your own without the assistance of others.
The Final Exam is scheduled for Thursday, May 06 at 8:00 AM. We expect you to be there. If you do not attend you will receive an F, no questions. If you anticipate some problem with taking the exam on this day (e.g., you have a conflict with another scheduled exam), then you need to let us know at least 2 weeks in advance. You will need to provide documentation of why you cannot take the exam during the regularly scheduled period.
