Course Policy

About this course

The goal of the class is for students to develop an understanding of how the Internet works and the principles of its design while becoming proficient in using popular Internet applications and WWW publishing tools. The skill-building portion of the course serves as a basis for understanding current Internet practices and for preparing to learn new Internet tools in the future. Finally, students will come away from the class with an appreciation of some important Internet information management and policy issues.

There are many books on HTML and WWW publishing and you may find it useful to acquire one or more. Also, in the SILS Lab, there are many such books available.
