1 January 2007: Happy New Year! We're Organizing!

Until now, SILS hasn't had an official organization focused on issues related to LGBTQ students and librarianship. But we're about to change that.

At the moment, we're busy planning events for the spring semester, so stay tuned for updates on potlucks, movie nights, panel discussions, speakers, and other exciting events.

In addition, we're working on becoming an official organization (recognized by UNC-Chapel Hill). Until then we'll be working unofficially -- but enthusiastically.

Please feel free to get in touch with us if you have ideas or suggestions, think we're not doing something we should be (or doing something we shouldn't), or want to get involved.
