Federal Aviation Regulations Explained : Parts 1, 61, 91, 141, and NTSB 830 by Kent S. Jackson, Joseph T. Brennan, Jeppesen Sanderson, (1997) -- This is a great place to start. Each regulation is explained by the authors and then followed by related NTSB decisions, Appeals Court decisions, and FAA Chief Counsel opinions.

General Aviation Law, 2nd Edition by Jerry A. Eichenberger, McGraw-Hill (1997) -- Helpful as an overview of topics relevant to GA pilots, especially the FAA enforcement process. But provides very little content on legal documents or research methods.

Aviation Law Corporation Newsletter -- briefly discusses some important aviation law issues. Best read as a general overview or introduction to aviation law, not as a place to find answers to specific questions. I would recommend turning off images on your browser before visiting this site, since the cloud background image is a bit annoying.

Southern Aviator Onlline -- a good source for keeping up to date on regs.
